WHO WE ARE?
The Sundas Foundation is a non-governmental organization established in 1998 , with a profound mission to support patients with thalassemia and other blood disorders.
Sundas Foundation is also registered with the Punjab Charity Commission in Pakistan and is dedicated to treating patients suffering from Thalassemia, Hemophilia, Blood Cancer, and other chronic blood diseases. Before its establishment, many commercial blood banks operated without proper equipment or permission, often providing untested and contaminated blood unsuitable for transfusions.
The Foundation operates through 12 centers located in Lahore, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Sialkot, Daska, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Wazirabad, Hafizabad, Islamabad, and Karachi.
Over the last 26 years, Sundas Foundation has provided more than 406,482 units of healthy, screened blood bags and blood products. Currently, it supplies 250-300 units of blood and blood products daily, contributing 40-50% of the total blood requirements in the cities where it operates.
