Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi, visited Sundas Foundation Lahore, where he reviewed medical facilities, met children undergoing treatment for thalassemia and hemophilia and appreciated the foundation’s free healthcare services and international-standard blood management system.

Lahore: Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi, paid a visit to Sundas Foundation Lahore, where he was warmly received by the Founder and President of Sundas Foundation Mr. Muhammad Yasin Khan, Director Mr. Khalid Abbas Dar and the foundation’s management team.

During the visit, the Governor met children undergoing treatment at the foundation, distributed gifts among them and encouraged the young patients. He also reviewed the medical facilities being provided for the treatment of patients suffering from thalassemia, hemophilia, and other blood-related disorders.

On this occasion, Medical Director Dr. Adnan Gillani briefed the Governor in detail about the foundation’s medical services, advanced treatment methods, modern medical equipment and efficient blood management system. Dr. Adnan stated that Sundas Foundation provides free blood and medical treatment to thousands of patients every month and ensures international standards in healthcare services. He further added that the foundation is working on new programs based on genetic screening and research to enable early diagnosis and prevention of hereditary blood diseases.

While talking to the media, Governor Faisal Karim Kundi appreciated the services of Sundas Foundation and said that he was pleased to see the dedication and commitment of the staff in serving patients suffering from thalassemia, hemophilia and other blood disorders. He added that he thoroughly reviewed the medical facilities provided by the foundation and found its healthcare services, modern treatment methods, and blood management system to be in line with international standards.

The Governor emphasized that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has always encouraged institutions working for social welfare and assured full cooperation with Sundas Foundation in the future to support its noble cause.
