Karachi: A special ceremony was held at Governor House Sindh in observance of Thalassemia Awareness Week/World Thalassemia Day to raise awareness about thalassemia and show support for patients suffering from the disease.

The event highlighted the importance of awareness, early screening, and collective efforts to prevent thalassemia and support affected families. On this meaningful occasion, the Honourable Governor appreciated the remarkable humanitarian role of Sundas Foundation and praised its unwavering commitment to saving lives and serving humanity.

The Governor acknowledged the continuous efforts of Sundas Foundation in providing care, treatment and hope to thousands of thalassemia patients across Pakistan. Participants also emphasized the need for public awareness and timely testing to help create a healthier and Thalassemia-Free Pakistan.
