Lahore: Punjab Assembly was illuminated in red lights on the occasion of World Thalassemia Day as a powerful symbol of solidarity and support for brave thalassemia patients and their families. Children of Sundas Foundation also visited the Punjab Assembly during the occasion and participated in the awareness activities organized to highlight the importance of thalassemia prevention and support for patients.

The initiative aimed to spread awareness about thalassemia prevention, timely screening and the importance of regular blood donation to save precious lives. The illuminating display reflected a collective commitment to support thalassemia warriors and encourage society to play its role in building a healthier and Thalassemia-Free future.

The occasion also highlighted the importance of public awareness and preventive measures to reduce the growing number of thalassemia patients in Pakistan. Citizens were encouraged to participate in awareness campaigns and support blood donation initiatives for children fighting thalassemia.
