Lahore: On the occasion of World Blood Donor Day, CTO Lahore SSP Abdul Rahim Sherazi visited the Lahore Center of Sundas Foundation. He was warmly received by Director Sundas Foundation Khalid Abbas Dar, Director Finance Ali Rauf and members of the Foundation's management. During the visit, SSP Abdul Rahim Sherazi met children suffering from thalassemia and hemophilia who are receiving treatment at the Foundation. He spent time with the young patients and distributed gifts among them. On the occasion, the CTO Lahore personally donated blood, while officers and personnel of Lahore Traffic Police also participated in the blood donation drive and voluntarily donated blood for patients in need. Speaking to the media, Abdul Rahim Sherazi said that he was delighted to visit Sundas Foundation, describing it as a renowned charitable organization that has been serving humanity for many years and needs no introduction. He said that he had visited the Foundation to mark World Blood Donor Day and was pleased to see that children suffering from thalassemia and other blood disorders were being provided treatment and care according to international standards. He added that meeting the children was a heartwarming experience. Appealing to the public, he urged people to support Sundas Foundation through Zakat, donations and blood contributions so that this noble mission could continue to serve deserving patients. He also paid tribute to the late Munnu Bhai and prayed for the continued success of the Foundation's humanitarian efforts. The CTO Lahore assured the Foundation of Lahore Police's full support whenever required. He emphasized that blood donation is a great humanitarian service and expressed his commitment to donating blood every three months while encouraging others to participate in this life-saving cause
