Provincial Minister Chaudhry Shafay Hussain visited Sundas Foundation, where he met with patients battling Thalassemia and Hemophilia.

LAHORE: Provincial Minister Chaudhry Shafay Hussain visited Sundas Foundation, where he met with patients battling Thalassemia and Hemophilia, personally distributing gifts to uplift their spirits. During his visit, he toured various departments, inspecting the free medical services and facilities provided to patients.


Speaking to the media, Chaudhry Shafay Hussain praised Sundas Foundation for its unwavering commitment to humanitarian service, calling it a beacon of hope for underprivileged patients. He acknowledged the foundation’s exceptional efforts in providing free blood transfusions, medicines, and medical care to thousands of deserving individuals.


The minister pledged full support for the expansion of Sundas Foundation Centers across the province, ensuring that Thalassemia and Hemophilia patients receive essential healthcare services within their local districts. He emphasized the urgent need to extend lifesaving treatments across Punjab, so children battling blood disorders no longer have to travel long distances for medical care


During the visit, Medical Director Dr. Adnan Gilani briefed the minister on the foundation’s operations, highlighting that over 7,000 patients suffering from Thalassemia and other blood diseases receive lifesaving blood transfusions and medication completely free of cost every month.


At the conclusion of the visit, Sundas Foundation President Yasin Khan presented a commemorative shield to the Provincial Minister in recognition of his visit and continued support. COO Abdul Sattar, Director of Finance Ali Rauf, and Manager of Marketing Communication, PR & Media Imran Mehar were also present, reaffirming their commitment to expanding the foundation’s services for patients in need.
