Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan Visits Sundas Foundation During Blood Donation Awareness Week

Lahore: Governor of Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan visited Sundas Foundation Lahore in connection with the Blood Donation Awareness Week ceremony. He was warmly received by the Foundation’s Patron Sohail Warraich, President and Founder Muhammad Yasin Khan, Director Khalid Abbas and members of the Foundation’s management.
During the visit, the Governor met children suffering from thalassemia, hemophilia and other blood disorders. He inquired about their well-being, spent time with them and distributed gifts among the young patients.
The ceremony was attended by several distinguished personalities from different walks of life, including DG PEMRA Punjab Ayesha Manzoor Wattoo, CEO of Discover Pakistan Dr. Qaiser Rafique, Chairman of Tajran Ittehad Group All Pakistan Muhammad Abu Bakar and Dean of Superior University Gold Campus Dr. Irfan Jaffar. A large number of students from various universities, social workers and volunteers also participated in the event.
Addressing the ceremony, Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan expressed his gratitude to Sundas Foundation for inviting him to such a prestigious event. He stated that Sundas Foundation is a welfare organization that enjoys the complete trust of the public. He acknowledged that the Foundation was established on the vision of the late Munnoo Bhai and has grown into a shining symbol of humanitarian service through the tireless efforts of Muhammad Yasin Khan, Khalid Abbas Dar, Sohail Warraich and their dedicated team.
He further said that it is people like them who keep the spirit of hope, compassion, and humanity alive in society. "The most precious moments of my day are the ones I am spending with these children," he remarked. "If my visit helps raise awareness about thalassemia and other blood disorders, encourages more people to donate blood and inspires others to join this noble cause then nothing could make me happier."
The Governor reaffirmed his unwavering support for Sundas Foundation, saying, "I will always stand with Sundas Foundation and continue to play my role in every mission dedicated to serving humanity. Whether it is a blood donation campaign, an awareness program, or any initiative aimed at supporting children suffering from blood disorders, my full support will always remain with this organization."
On the occasion, Muhammad Yasin Khan, President and Founder of Sundas Foundation, presented an honorary shield to Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan as a token of appreciation and thanked him for attending the ceremony.
At the conclusion of the event, the Governor distributed honorary certificates to individuals who made outstanding contributions to the blood donation campaign and to volunteer blood donors, recognizing and appreciating their valuable services to society.
