Punjab Law Minister Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan Visits Sundas Foundation

Lahore, August 13, 2026:
Punjab Provincial Law Minister Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan visited Sundas Foundation, where he was warmly welcomed by Founder and President Sundas Foundation Muhammad Yaseen Khan (Sitara-e-Imtiaz).Director Sundas Foundation, Khalid Abbas Dar and other distinguished personalities were also present on the occasion.
During his visit, the Provincial Law Minister met children suffering from Thalassemia and Hemophilia, inquired about their well-being and distributed gifts among them. He spent time with the children and also cut an Independence Day cake with them. The children and their families expressed their happiness and gratitude for the minister’s affection, encouragement, and support.
Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan also visited various departments of Sundas Foundation and inspected its state-of-the-art blood bank, equipped with modern facilities. He was briefed on the services being provided by the organization to patients suffering from Thalassemia, Hemophilia and other blood disorders.
Speaking on the occasion, Punjab Law Minister Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan paid rich tribute to the services of Sundas Foundation, stating that the organization is a shining example of humanitarian service and has become a beacon of hope for thousands of patients and their families.
He emphasized the need to promote Thalassemia prevention and timely screening to effectively control the spread of the disease. He further stated that by ensuring a safe blood supply and creating awareness among the public, future generations can be protected from Thalassemia.
The Provincial Law Minister appealed to the public to donate blood as much as possible to help save the lives of patients suffering from blood disorders. He said that blood donation is a great act of humanitarian service and can become a means of saving someone’s life.
Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan stressed that the Government of Punjab will continue to extend all possible support to welfare organizations engaged in public service, while appreciating Sundas Foundation for its continued efforts and commitment to serving patients suffering from blood disorders.
