Rashid Iqbal Nasrullah Visits Sundas Foundation, Celebrates Defence Day with Thalassemia Children

Lahore: Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Punjab for Zakat & Ushr, Rashid Iqbal Nasrullah, visited Sundas Foundation.

The distinguished guest was received by Founder & President of Sundas Foundation, Muhammad Yaseen Khan (Sitara-e-Imtiaz) and the Sundas Foundation management.

On this occasion, Rashid Iqbal Nasrullah met children suffering from thalassemia, hemophilia and other blood disorders, distributed gifts among them and cut a cake with the children to mark Defence Day of Pakistan. Director Sundas Foundation Khalid Abbas Dar was also present on the occasion.

Speaking to the media, Rashid Iqbal Nasrullah said that Sundas Foundation is performing an important humanitarian service by providing free treatment and medical facilities to children suffering from blood disorders. He said that encouraging and supporting organizations working for the health and treatment of thalassemia and hemophilia patients is an important need of the time.

He further said that Defence Day reminds us of the unforgettable sacrifices of the martyrs and Ghazis and inspires us to renew our commitment to serving the country and nation. He added that celebrating Defence Day with children at Sundas Foundation was a beautiful and commendable initiative.
