Sundas Foundation

Renowned Pakistani film star Madam Anjuman visited Sundas Foundation in Lahore, on June 18, 2022. She was received by President Yaseen Khan and Director Khalid Abbas Dar. She met thalassemia and hemophilia patients individually and distributed gifts among them. She also visited the blood bank and state of the art laboratory. She appreciated generous work of the Sundas Foundation. Senior Columnist Asif Affan, Senior Actor Pervaiz Raza, Ali Rauf, Abdullah Malik and Aamna Munawar Qureshi were also present on the occasion.

Famous Pakistani Sufi & Mystique Kathak Classical Dancer Madam Nighat Chaudhry visited Sundas Foundation on June 6, 2022, accompanied by two young singers Damia Farooq and Parisa Farooq. They were warmly welcomed by President Yaseen Khan, Director Khalid Abbas Dar. She met thalassemia and hemophilia children and give out gift packs among patients.

Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz Sharif visited Sundas Foundation on the occasion of World Thalassemia Awareness Day, May 8, 2022. Other government machinery, concerned officials and heads of other welfare agencies of the country were also present on the occasion. CM Punjab also met thalassemia patients’ kids individually.

The U.S. Consul General William K. Makaneole in Lahore visited Sundas Foundation on December 23, 2021. The Consul General was warmly welcomed by President Sundas Foundation Mr. Yaseen Khan, Director Khalid Abbas Dar and Director Sohail Warraich. He met thalassemia and hemophilia children and gave out gift packs among the patients. The U.S. Consul General William K. Makaneole gave a round to the Organization and witnessed the well-equipped blood bank, high tech blood screening equipment and State of the Art Laboratory. During his visit he also observed the blood transfusion facilities. He praised the foundation for providing healthy blood to these thalassemia and hemophilia children. He also met thalassemia children individually and distributed a gift of love to each. The U.S. Consul General William K. Makaneole appreciated the work of Sundas Foundation as a great contribution towards humanity. He further praised the consistent efforts and dedication of the organization on providing healthy blood to the thalassemic children and other patients who are suffering from blood disorder diseases. He also emphasized on premarital blood screening of Thalassemia to eradicate the life threatening disease.
