Mr. Yaseen Khan is a highly respected name in social work and philanthropy in Pakistan. In 1998, he founded Sundas Foundation with a mission to overcome the impact of Thalassemia and Hemophilia in Pakistan while providing free, high-quality care to those in need. Under his leadership, Sundas Foundation has grown into a symbol of hope, offering excellent patient care and advocating for stronger corporate and governmental support to further its cause. Mr. Khan’s journey in social work spans over 30 years, beginning as the Head of the Blood Management Department at Fatimid Foundation. During his time, he witnessed the hardships faced by patients traveling from distant areas to receive care. Determined to ease their suffering, he established a facility in Gujranwala named after a Thalassemia patient, Sundas, giving birth to Sundas Foundation. In response to the rising number of Thalassemia patients, Mr. Khan played a pivotal role in founding additional institutions such as Noor Thalassemia Foundation, Jado Jehad Foundation in Lahore, Amna Hematological Services & Blood Bank in Multan, and Pakistan Thalassemia Center in Islamabad. His dedication extended beyond healthcare, as he was instrumental in establishing Pakistan Sweet Homes in 2011, a sanctuary for over 4,000 orphans affected by terrorism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. Currently serving as the President of Pakistan Civil Society, Mr. Khan continues to champion the rights of marginalized and underserved communities. His tireless efforts and unwavering commitment to social justice have transformed countless lives, making him a beacon of hope for the vulnerable and a role model for future generations.
