Born in 1942, Mr. Khalid Abbas Dar is a renowned actor, playwright, director, mimic, and television host, with a career spanning over five decades. His contributions to Pakistan's entertainment industry have earned him prestigious awards, including the Presidential Pride of Performance in 1999, Sitara-e-Imtiaz in 2006-07, and Hilal-e-Imtiaz in 2013 from the Government of Pakistan. Starting his career as a child performer on Radio Pakistan in 1955, Khalid Abbas Dar became the first-ever "One Man Show" performer on PTV in 1964. He has also worked closely with the Federal Ministry of Health to raise awareness about crucial health issues such as Polio, Hepatitis, and HIV/AIDS. Mr. Dar has been a dedicated member of Sundas Foundation for many years, currently serving as its Director. His unwavering support and tireless efforts in supporting the foundation's mission make him an invaluable asset. Despite his busy schedule, he consistently participates in key events, helping drive the foundation's success.
